New Albany homes are large by Columbus standards. Four and five bedrooms, finished lower levels, a bonus room over the garage, and enough bathrooms that a rotating stranger will miss one. That is why most of our New Albany work is recurring: the same cleaner learns the house, and after two visits the checklist is in their head.

The planned-community layout means most of the housing is newer Georgian and colonial-style stock built from the late 1990s on. Lots of white trim, lots of hardwood, lots of glass. It shows dust fast and it shows a good clean just as fast.

Mostly larger colonial and Georgian-style homes from the late 1990s through the 2010s, with a few estate-sized properties near the country club. Finished basements and multiple full baths are the norm.

What we pay attention to here

White trim and baseboards everywhere, which is where a lazy clean shows. Hardwood throughout that needs the right product, not a wet mop.
